The 1889 Club House features two dining rooms, a full bar, pool table and room for separate children's events such as movie nights. A full dinner menu is available at the Club from Wednesday through Friday evenings and the Club offers a popular family-style dinner on Sunday nights.

Club members schedule interesting and entertaining events year round. Recent favorites have included the ever-popular Mystery Night, where members write and solve a murder mystery, readings by notable authors, “jazz dinners” accompanied by local bands, a packed bar for every Red Sox/Yankess series (with a big Boston contingent to make things interesting), kids' movie nights, several book clubs and the Club's recent 115 th Anniversary Dinner. Ideas for new events are always invited.
